Hello. My name is Kristine and I adopted a blue merle
aussie puppy from Aussie Rescue Canada in January 2005. His Mom, Molly, gave
birth to him and 8 other pups in a foster home in
Calgary in November, 2004. I saw the post on Aussie Rescue Canada and
immediately e-mailed to see if there were any puppies still available
and if any would be a good match for me. I adopted puppy #7 – named Blitz
then, now Bosco. He is the puppy on page 5 of your success stories that says
he is going to Winnipeg to become an agility dog.
Just wanted to send you a couple of pictures of Bosco
doing agility from a recent fun match and let Aussie Rescue Canada know that
I am very grateful every day that I was able to adopt Bosco. He is
absolutely wonderful and is everything I was looking for in an aussie.

I had been researching aussies for about a year and was in
contact with some reputable breeders but wasn’t 100% sure that I wanted to
buy a puppy from a breeder as I have always rescued my dogs (my other dog is
a Rhodesian Ridgeback cross named Ali that I rescued when she was around 10
months old) and work closely with a couple of rescue organizations in
Manitoba. So when I saw the puppies in rescue, it seemed like fate to me.
Bosco is very high drive and biddable, always eager to
do whatever I want to do and absolutely loves agility, flyball and herding.
He is also very affectionate and cuddly and has never met a stranger. A
perfect fit for me and my lifestyle!!
Thank you so much Aussie Rescue for making Bosco
possible for me, who knows what would have happened if rescue hadn’t
fostered Molly and allowed the puppies to be born in a wonderful foster
home. I will be forever grateful. If I can ever help out here in Manitoba,
please let me know.
